Job description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your career in the operating room with a dynamic role designed for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about perioperative care. This 13-week opportunity focuses on delivering expert surgical support across general, orthopedic, and neuro cases, with an emphasis on strong clinical competency and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 10-hour or 12-hour options
  • On-call requirement for ortho team includes one weekend every 4 weeks, plus varying short and long call shifts

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RI RN license or compact state equivalent
  • BLS certification (active)
  • Demonstrated expertise in general, orthopedic, and neuro surgical procedures
  • Previous experience with Davinci Robotics required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to excel in a team and independently manage critical situations

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of operative procedures with a hands-on, patient-centered approach
  • Coordinate care and prioritize patient safety throughout the perioperative process
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical techs, and fellow RNs to deliver quality outcomes and adhere to best practices
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
  • Adhere to aseptic technique and infection control protocols at all times
