SUMMARY

To deliver the Ultimate Corrugated Experience through maximization of traffics patterns while utilizing our own fleet.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by adhering to company safe work practices and ensuring compliance with all safety policies and SOPs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized shipping and work area at shift start, during operations, and at shift changeover.
  • Interpret dry end run schedules and translate production data into accurate, efficient shipping lineups.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling and the Control Room to align production output with transportation plans and resolve discrepancies in real time.
  • Schedule and communicate with delivery drivers to ensure cost-effective, on-time customer deliveries.
  • Verify unit counts, tagging, and proper unitization to ensure all orders ship complete and meet quality standards; report shortages or issues immediately.
  • Supervise, monitor, and provide performance feedback to Checker Loaders; ensure proper staffing and training for assigned tasks.
  • Oversee trailer inspections, sweep logs, and compliance documentation to ensure completion per standard operating procedures.
  • Manage rework, overruns, underruns, and scrap in coordination with the Control Room Operator to prevent carryover between shifts and maximize trailer utilization.
  • Ensure completion of preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including equipment cleaning, forklift upkeep, propane valve shutoff, and waste removal.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing shipping environment
  • Experience with scheduled preferred
  • Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
