Job Summary

Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of six divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Taurus Power Services (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States.

Since 1985, Taurus has been designing control systems, automating tasks, and fabricating control panels for industrial, municipal, and commercial customers-on time and on budget. Taurus is a NETA Accredited Company that offers full-service, third party, independent testing for all electrically powered systems and equipment. Being a 24/7 field service company remains at the core of what we do. We have expertise in a wide array of systems and industries, whether it's servicing projects we developed, or systems built by others.

Education and Experience Qualifications


  • Bachelors Degree or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in Personnel Management
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Gantt Charting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task and operate with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

This Production Manager leads the planning, scheduling, and execution of all manufacturing and commissioning operations within the Panel Shop and field. This position is responsible for the cost-effective planning and processing of production, FAT's, Start-up, and shipping of completed project Components. This position has direct reports.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordination with Project Managers to understand Project & Construction Priorities.
  • Implement, oversee, and control the Production & Construction Schedule.
  • Oversees day-to-day workflow of Production & Construction Staff.
  • Ensures efficient production scheduling to achieve targets.
  • Operates with transparency and earns trust at all levels through communication.
  • Coordinate the issuing of purchase orders based on production schedule.
  • Monitor purchase order status and expedite as necessary to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Schedule Instrument check-in, testing, and shipment.
  • Schedule panel construction
  • Schedule shop FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and Customer / Engineer FAT
  • Schedule field startup of Instrumentation and Controls
  • Supervise, review, and revise staff scheduling, as required.
  • Identify any bottlenecks or delays in production.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments for job completion.
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to the management team in a timely manner.
  • Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.
  • Hold team accountable to meet quality standards.
  • Provide timely production information.
  • Always promotes a safe working environment.
  • Manage documentation for completed projects.
  • Monitor staffing needs, training, and efficiency.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:

  • Move about the jobsite as needed.
  • Move work related equipment up to 50lbs
  • Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
  • Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.
