HUB's Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. The Account Manager will support Producers and/or AEs in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business. The Account Manager may also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Determine what is needed for placement of new accounts or the renewal of existing accounts
  • Discuss renewal intentions with the appropriate underwriters
  • Attend or host client strategy meetings, both internal and external
  • Prepare for and lead discussion during Critical Path meetings
  • Manage the renewal or placement process, which includes leading the coordination between local, regional, and national specialty units
  • Set target pricing, either independently or with the Account Executive or Producer
  • Finalize market submissions
  • Answer underwriting questions and negotiate terms and pricing with markets
  • Coordinate loss control visits/surveys
  • Complete coverage comparisons, identify recommended coverages, and fill those gaps
  • Finalize and present proposals independently, or alongside the Account Executive or Producer
  • Facilitate binding of coverage
  • Final review of policy checking
  • Conduct contract reviews as needed
  • Resolve client coverage inquiries
  • Manage account documentation including ERM 14 forms
  • Send documentation to clients and follow up to ensure it was received and submitted to the carrier

Job Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines coverages, forms, procedures, and policy rating
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
