 Who You Are:

The Lead Custodial Worker is responsible for overseeing the daily custodial operations at the Page Belcher Federal Building. Provides work direction to custodial personnel, ensures cleaning services meet contractual requirements, maintains quality standards, and performs custodial duties alongside the team. Reports to the Facility Manager. This position provides front-line leadership to custodial personnel while also performing custodial duties alongside the team and reports to the Facility Manager.

 What You’ll Do:

• Lead and coordinate daily custodial activities.
• Assign work areas and monitor completion of scheduled tasks.
• Inspect completed work to ensure contract compliance.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and restocking.
• Clean offices, conference rooms, common areas, stairwells, entrances, windows, and glass surfaces.
• Operate commercial custodial equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
• Maintain janitorial closets and supplies.
• Report maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, and supply shortages.
• Train custodial personnel on procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USPS, and company policies.
• Complete quality control reports and required documentation.
• Assist with emergencies and special cleaning projects.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance duties as operationally required, including litter removal, sweeping sidewalks, emptying exterior receptacles, light landscaping support, snow/ice mitigation when applicable, and other exterior maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Employees may be assigned duties outside their primary work area, including custodial, grounds maintenance, or other facility support functions, provided such duties are within their training, qualifications, and the requirements of the contract.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years of commercial custodial experience.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to pass required USPS background screening.

Compensation 

 Expected Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

 Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.  Location Requirements

 The position will primarily work onsite.

The position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
