Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Lapeer, Michigan. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,997-$2,087 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM-7:30 AM). Setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during pregnancy (antepartum), labor and delivery (intrapartum), and the immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs; respond to changes and coordinate care as needed
- Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and provide support during operative and non-operative births
- Manage obstetric complications and emergencies, implementing rapid assessments and interventions
- Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum expectations; ensure appropriate discharge planning
- Document nursing care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN IFM certificates
- Ability to work night shift in a high-acuity L&D setting
- Eligibility to work in the United States and to fulfill a travel assignment in Michigan
