• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to gain insights into each student’s unique challenges and strengths, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Employ various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms in patients.
• Maintain accurate, secure, and timely clinical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to all state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with educational professionals, including teachers and school administrators, via virtual meetings to create supportive networks for students and foster a holistic approach to their mental health.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment protocols and share insights with colleagues through video conferencing tools.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health to continuously improve therapeutic approaches in your practice.

Your primary clients will be children and adolescents facing an array of mental health challenges, often manifested during critical periods in their development. You’ll work closely with students coping with stress related to school, family dynamics, and social interactions. This role will also require you to address challenges that may arise due to the remote learning environment and its impact on their well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts is essential.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and familiarity with using telehealth technologies for remote therapy delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with educational professionals.
