PRN (pro re nata) roles are 'as needed,' so your shifts may vary based on patient census and hospital needs, often including weekends or holidays. You'll work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other nursing staff to ensure safe patient handoffs and optimal recovery outcomes. This flexible role is ideal for nurses seeking autonomy and variety in their work schedule.
