Responsibilities What you get to do every day: You’ll write complex queries, shape data for dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and deliver reliable datasets. You’ll work closely with dashboard developers and application teams to provide clean, consistent, and easy‑to‑consume data for mission users.  * SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, filtering, subqueries, and window functions to support dashboards
* Data Shaping for Visualization: Structure query outputs in a way that is optimized for dashboard consumption (clear naming, grouping, formatting)
* Dashboard Support: Partner with dashboard developers to define and deliver the data required for visualizations and reporting
* Data Validation: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets used in dashboards
* Query Performance: Identify inefficient queries and make basic improvements to support responsive dashboards
* Requirements Translation: Translate dashboard and reporting requirements into effective SQL queries Qualifications Clearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly  Education/Experience: * Requires bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
* 4-8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2-6 with a master's degree  Required Skills: * Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write advanced queries (joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions)
* Experience working with enterprise relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
* Background supporting analytics, dashboards, or reporting pipelines
* Comfortable working in Linux‑based environments
* Proven ability to work independently on data‐centric tasks and ensure data quality
What is ideal? * Experience with Grafana, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
* Experience working in Agile environments

* The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $87,000 - $157,450. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
