Maintenance Technician


Location

San Antonio, TX


Pay

$32.45/hr with contractual increases every 6 months for the first 2 years


Shift

Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and plant utility equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations
Install, relocate, and modify equipment including electrical, gas, water, and air hookups
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Fabricate and repair tools, fixtures, and guards as needed using shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder, grinder, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts, and work orders
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including LOTO and PPE use

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred
Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and electrical circuits (120V-480V)
Strong mechanical skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
Must provide own hand tools appropriate for the role
Ability to work overtime as required
Must be able to wear required PPE
