Job description

Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer

The Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting test equipment, software, and procedures used in high-volume manufacturing of industrial and consumer products. This role ensures robust, repeatable testing processes by creating and maintaining technical specifications and documentation in accordance with established standards and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing test processes, tools, and procedures to support production needs.
  • Develop automated test scripts and execute comprehensive test plans for products, manufacturing processes, and test equipment.
  • Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and testability, identifying and resolving potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results and performance data, providing recommendations and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Support initial product configurations and establish manufacturing parameters during production ramp-up.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, process, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, and yield.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing test or production engineering experience.
