Job description

Razor is looking for a Junior System Administrator to support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical U.S. Government IT systems. This role supports day-to-day system administration across client/server, storage, network, and related infrastructure environments. Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements. Responsibilities: * Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems * Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution * Support users in accessing and utilizing IT systems * Monitor and troubleshoot client/server, storage, network, and related devices * Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems * Install and maintain operating system software * Configure network components and support system integrity * Optimize system operations and resource utilization * Perform system capacity analysis and planning * Communicate escalated issues and status to internal and Government stakeholders Qualifications: * 5 years of System Administrator experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity * Experience administering Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments * Experience troubleshooting IT systems and infrastructure * Knowledge of client/server, storage, and networking environments * Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Ability to support day-to-day operations in complex IT environments Desired Skills: * Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments * Server and network administration experience * System monitoring and performance optimization experience * Experience supporting classified systems Employer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
