Summary:

The Window Treatment Specialist partners with Sales Representatives to identify opportunities for Finished Products and Drapery Hardware. This role provides expertise in product selection for drapery and hardware, Motorization, and installation guidance to support customers and drive sales.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent Fabricut, Stroheim, Vervain, S. Harris, and Trend brands in appearance and conduct
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Advise customers on appropriate fabric selection, quantities, and hardware solutions for window treatments
  • Educate customers on fabric features, including weave, texture, color, and end-use applications
  • Train customers on navigating Fabricut websites for Finished Products and Hardware
  • Educate customers on accurately measuring for window treatments and hardware
  • Prepare quotes for window treatments and hardware solutions
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Maintain safe and organized work practices
  • Utilize materials and equipment efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Interior Design degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience with window treatments required
  • Workroom experience or knowledge preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain product line information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight travel within assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to navigate and travel within geographic territories
