Commercial Glazier (Rope Access / High-Rise)

We Don’t Hire Average Thinkers.

At Glass Doctor of North Texas, we’re building a team of elite problem solvers, not just installers.

We’re looking for a Commercial Glazier who can handle complex installs, think on their feet, and isn’t afraid of heights, because a big part of this role involves rope access (rappelling) on high-rise buildings.

If you take pride in your work, solve problems without being told, and want to be part of a company raising the standard in the glass industry, keep reading:


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install and replace commercial glass systems (storefront, curtain wall, entrances)
  • Perform high-rise glass work using rope access (rappelling)
  • Execute clean, precise installs — no shortcuts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, field measurements, and job specs
  • Communicate with customers and team members professionally
  • Identify problems in the field and solve them before they become bigger issues


What You MUST Have

  • Proven commercial glazing experience
  • Rope access / rappelling experience (non-negotiable)
  • Confidence working at heights
  • Strong understanding of job site safety and accountability
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean MVR and pass background check



Bonus Points If You Have

  • SPRAT certification
  • Experience with swing stages or boom lifts
  • Strong caulking, sealing, and waterproofing skills
