Job description

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking aDirector of Clinical Informatics for our Corporate office in Oklahoma City, OK. 


This role will provide end-user support, and ensure system reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with clinical and revenue cycle workflows to support high-quality end-of-life care. The administrator partners with clinical leadership and executive stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and strategic system enhancements that improve patient outcomes, staff productivity, and organizational performance in a highly regulated hospice environment.

  • Data Integrity, Analytics & Reporting 
  • Education, Training & End-User Support 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or a related healthcare or technology field. Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Experience: 
  • 7 years of progressive healthcare experience in hospice, home health, clinical operations, healthcare technology, or clinical informatics 
  • 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare informatics, clinical systems administration, or healthcare technology management. 
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience leading clinical system implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and change management programs.  
  • Experience supporting hospice workflows, interdisciplinary documentation, quality reporting, and regulatory compliance.  
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives. 
  • One or more of the following certifications preferred: 
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred  
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) 
  • Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS)  
  • Nursing Informatics Certification (RN-BC)  
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)  
  • Lean Six Sigma certification  
  • Homecare Homebase certifications and advanced training credentials preferred
