Job description

  • Role focus: Full stack developer role with stronger emphasis on backend Java, plus React-based UI development.
  • Core stack: Java, Spring Boot, AWS, React, TypeScript, microservices, plus exposure to Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Frontend expectation: React is preferred. Angular is acceptable background, but React experience is strongly favored.
  • MFE / micro app: Micro frontend exposure is useful, but manager said a strong backend-heavy candidate can still work if they have enough frontend capability.
  • Ideal profile split: A candidate with roughly 60 70% backend and 20 30% frontend can still be a fit.
  • Production support: Important. Team owns design, build, deployment, and production support. No separate L2 team.
  • Environment: Cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS. Modernization work and business initiatives are both in scope.
  • Team fit: Good communication, team-player attitude, and comfort working across changing initiatives are important.
  • Nice-to-have: Any AI exposure such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
  • Interview guidance: Prepare candidates for video interviews, live coding/screen sharing, and questions on production ownership / observability.
