Logistics Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $48,000 – $65,000 / year

Job Summary

We are hiring an analytical Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end supply chain movements. You will evaluate shipping avenues, optimize carrier relations, and manage global supply schedules to guarantee bottom-line value.

Key Responsibilities

• Track inbound and outbound freight shipments, resolving clearance or lane exceptions.

• Negotiate competitive spot rates and contractual lanes with asset-based freight carriers.

• Audit freight bills, verify customs entries, and authorize shipping expenses.

• Evaluate metrics to select optimal shipping methods (intermodal, ocean, air, LTL, FTL).

• Interface between purchasing, sales, and manufacturing units regarding shipment status.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics preferred.

• Deep comprehension of global import/export documentation and customs processes.

• Advanced Excel data mastery (VLOOKUPs, Pivots) for freight cost modeling.

• Highly organized professional capable of balancing hundreds of simultaneous shipments.

• Experience with modern ERP and TMS tools.
