Credentialing Specialist

Butterfly Effects is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our corporate office in Deerfield Beach, FL! The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for coordinating all functions related to the credentialing and re-credentialing of providers and maintains provider credentialing files.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process all initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for the Company's healthcare practitioners. Monitor work queue to ensure applications are processed within expected turnaround times.
  • Responsible for collecting credentialing documentation and accurately building provider credentialing files according to contractual CAQH and payor standards.
  • Accurate and timely data entry for all primary source verifications and maintaining up-to-date provider information for all providers in systems.
  • Utilizes, maintains, and manages providers CAQH ProView profiles to ensure data is maintained and accurate for health plan use.

QUALIFCATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in healthcare credentialing or administration preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including active listening.
  • High level of commitment/ownership to one's work product.
  • Commitment to self-accountability, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Critical thinking, with a drive for continuous process and system improvement.
  • Commitment to service excellence philosophy and interdisciplinary therapy for clients on the Autism spectrum.
