A Contractual Counterparty Risk Analyst is responsible for assessing and managing the risks associated with entering into contracts and agreements with other parties—known as counterparties. Their main tasks include analyzing the financial stability and creditworthiness of counterparties, reviewing contract terms, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. They work closely with legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure that contractual obligations do not expose the organization to unnecessary financial or reputational risks.
