Job description

VectraAI Cloud-Native Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a CloudNative VectraAI Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize VectraAI Detect and Recall, and support telemetry pipelines across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. This role focuses on cloudnative microservices, distributed systems, event streaming, infrastructureascode, and highavailability security analytics integrations.

What You'll Work On:

  • Architect and deploy VectraAI Detect and Recall integrations within cloud environments using managed services, container orchestration platforms, and serverless compute.

  • Build and maintain scalable cloudnative data ingestion pipelines leveraging services.

  • Develop microservices for metadata ingestion, enrichment, and alert processing.

  • Integrate VectraAI with cloud SIEM or SOAR systems, identity platforms, Zero Trust controls, and cloud logging pipelines.

  • Implement IaC such as Terraform or CloudFormation, for repeatable deployment of cloud VectraAI components.

  • Optimize cloud workloads for performance, security, and resiliency.

  • Build dashboards, runbooks, automation scripts, and monitoring strategies for cloud environments.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering with cloud architectures, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Experience with Kubernetes or cloud container platforms

  • Experience with building distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven pipelines

  • Experience with VectraAI Detect and Recall, or NDR platforms

  • Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM

  • Knowledge of cloud networking, traffic mirroring, logging, and telemetry flows

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification, such as SecurityX, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP Certification, within 30 days of start date

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP-IS), including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification, within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with cloud identity such as AAD or IAM, and Zero Trust security patterns

  • Experience with packet analytics tools such as Zeek, Suricata, or Arkime in cloud traffic pipelines

  • Experience supporting secure cloud adoption within federal or regulated environments

  • Experience in DevSecOps with CI/CD pipelines

  • Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
