What is a contractual clinical simulation educator?

A Contractual Clinical Simulation Educator is a professional who facilitates healthcare education using simulated clinical scenarios, often on a contract or temporary basis. They develop, organize, and assess simulation-based learning experiences to help students and clinicians practice clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork in a safe, controlled environment. Their responsibilities may include operating simulation equipment, debriefing participants, and collaborating with faculty to design effective scenarios. This role is common in nursing and medical schools, as well as in hospital staff training programs.
