Knitting Technician – Experience with Santoni Knitting Machines Preferred

Location: Hamlet, NC
Shift: 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Knitting Technician to join our manufacturing team in Hamlet, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and troubleshooting Santoni knitting machines and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient machine operation and the production of high-quality knitted products.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain Santoni knitting machines.
  • Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor adjustments to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Replace yarn packages, needles, and other machine components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Communicate machine performance and production issues to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications
