Responsibilities:
- Install various types of ceilings, including suspended ceilings, acoustic ceilings, and decorative ceilings.
- Measure and cut ceiling materials to the appropriate size and shape.
- Mount and secure ceiling panels, tiles, or other materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install insulation, vapor barriers, and soundproofing materials as required.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out ceiling components.
- Ensure that all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer's instructions.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as electricians or plumbers, to ensure proper installation of ceiling fixtures or utilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to project deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Ceiling Installer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of ceilings, installation techniques, and materials.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications related to ceiling installations.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the job.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently or with a crew
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and the importance of workplace safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Lift, push-pull a minimum of 100
- Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts throughout the day
- Must be able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees to complete installation
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- The position requires a drug test and physical to be completed, contingent upon employment.
