Indotronix is seeking an :

Onsite Job: Electrical Materials & Processes Engineer Level 4
Work Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Shift: First
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Security Clearance Required to Start: No

 Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the selection of materials, processes, and standard parts for wire harness, assembly, and installation design.
  • Support fabrication and production of electrical/electronic boxes, assemblies, and wiring interconnect systems.
  • Perform engineering drawing reviews.
  • Assist with updating program specifications.
  • Respond to engineering inquiries involving electrical wiring and electrical part selection.
  • Define requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in engineering design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
  • Approve the use of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.
  • Lead the development of specifications and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Promote standardization across business activities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application.
  • Lead the development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.
  • Integrate new technologies where appropriate.
  • Manage supplier qualification through testing and audit programs.
  • Conduct complex analyses to determine performance or investigate failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead the design, development, and qualification of computer and production systems.
  • Utilize project management tools to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
  • Incorporate Environmental Health & Safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into engineering activities.
  • Lead team efforts, assist in defining engineering strategies, and provide technical consultation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical program.
  • Experience performing engineering drawing reviews.
  • Experience with the selection of materials, processes, and standard parts for wire harness, assembly, and installation design.
  • Experience supporting fabrication and production of electrical/electronic boxes.
  • Background in aerospace electrical wiring.
