Nightingale Nurses - Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Schedule
  • 5x8s or 4x10s
  • Day shift, varying between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call
  • Approximately 10–14 call days per month
  • May be assigned to Cath Lab, EP, or Cath Holding
  • Travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
  • Longer assignments through 01/09/2027 may be available
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years Cath Lab RN experience
  • Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CC), or ED experience required
  • Epic proficiency required — no exceptions
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Active Virginia RN or Compact RN license in hand at submission
  • Must be comfortable with rotating call
Cath Lab Skills

Experience with:

  • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
  • PCI / cardiac stent placement
  • Left and right heart catheterization
  • IABP placement/removal
  • Impella
  • Cardioversion
  • Sheath removal and monitoring
  • Vascular closure systems
  • Procedural sedation
  • ACT monitoring
  • 12-lead EKG/ECG
  • Starting and maintaining IVs

EP experience is a plus, including pacemaker procedures and other electrophysiology services.
