Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager with a proven background in electronics contract manufacturing to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing client programs from inception through delivery, ensuring that all customer requirements and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, IPC standards, and regulatory requirements such as AS9100 and ISO 13485, with the ability to manage complex projects in highly regulated industries.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for guiding projects to successful completion by managing schedules, budgets, risk, and performance to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment with customer requirements and expectations.
    • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders to drive successful program execution and repeat business opportunities.
  • Program Execution & Delivery
    • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple, complex programs, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope.
    • Manage the program lifecycle from order entry and planning phases through production and delivery.
    • Create and maintain detailed program schedules, and performance metrics, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, including IPC, AS9100, and ISO 13485.
    • Work closely with quality teams to oversee quality control and assurance processes, ensuring products meet customer and industry standards.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact project success, including supply chain, schedule, quality, and compliance risks.
    • Develop and implement risk management plans to address issues proactively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless program execution.
    • Facilitate program reviews and status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure all team members are aligned on program goals.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive continuous improvement efforts across program management processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
    • Provide feedback and lessons learned to refine program management best practices.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Experience in program management within electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or a related field.
    • Experience in highly regulated industries; familiarity with IPC standards, AS9100 (aerospace quality), and ISO 13485 (medical device quality) preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated precision and accuracy in program documentation, scheduling, and quality tracking.
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of conveying technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
    • Analytical: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on data-driven outcomes.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in program management tools, ERP systems, and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
