Job description

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Monitor that EPC contracts for renewable energy projects are executed according to industry best practices and in alignment with Invenergy's contract processes.
Support compilation of standard contract documents so that they are consistently and properly used within all RFPs and EPC contracts executed by Invenergy's renewable project management team.
Learn risk management strategies during the contracting phase of projects.
Support multiple initiatives related to contract process improvement aimed at minimizing risk during EPC contracting.
Understand relationships with multiple contractors and promote effective coordination and positive portfolio-level contract discussions.
Collaborate with internal teams and participate in contract negotiations to support timely contract executions for multiple projects at any given time.
Report contract statuses to management, including level of conformance with standards and process.
Support in the change management process for EPC contract templates and the maintenance of a standard contract documents library.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, legal, or a related technical or legal discipline.
4+ years of professional experience in project management, energy-industry engineering, construction, and/or contracting of large-scale projects.
Exposure to drafting and negotiating elements of complex contracts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years in a role exposed to the development and execution of EPC contracts.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Excellent teamwork, collaborative leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels.
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of deliverables at a time.
Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with multiple interests and backgrounds.
Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
High degree of integrity and understanding of ethical industry standards.
Experience in the power and/or renewable energy industry.

Base Pay

$108,000.00 - $124,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
