We are committed to providing superior service and leaving things better than we found them.  Job Summary: The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the adherence to quality standards and protocols in all construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of AIS Infrastructure's deliverables, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and guidelines for heavy civil construction projects.Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and specifications.Coordinate, oversee, and handle documentation of soil and concrete testing.Identify and address any quality issues, non-conformities, or deficiencies in construction processes, materials, or workmanship.Collaborate with project teams to establish corrective actions and preventive measures to improve quality performance.Review and maintain up-to-date project documents to ensure alignment with quality requirements and accurate record of work competed.Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding quality control practices and requirements.Conduct training sessions to enhance the understanding of quality standards and procedures among project personnel.Monitor the implementation of quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.Generate reports and documentation to track and communicate quality performance metrics.Participate in quality-related meetings and provide input to enhance overall project quality.Requirements and Education:Strong construction quality control management experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a QC Manager, Superintendent, or Project Manager is required.Familiarity and experience with soil and concrete testing and coordinating and monitoring tests.Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secure facilities, including military bases.Ability to manage subcontractors and/or teams of 2+ people.Familiarity with relevant quality control tools, equipment, and software.Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices in construction and industrial services.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations and develop appropriate solutions.Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Preferred Requirements and Education:Preferred ability to utilize Procore and Unifier data management systems.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.Relevant certifications in quality control or quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, CQM-C) are preferred.Experience working with USACE and/or DOT is preferred. Travel:Travel to different project sites may be required as needed. Benefits:We are dedicated to our employees' well-being and believe that every one of our employees has the right to work in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
