Job Description About the Role

Troon Electric of New York, LLC is looking for a skilled Working Foreman / Experienced Electrician to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you\'ll lead crews in the field while delivering high-quality electrical work on commercial and residential projects. If you take pride in your craft and know how to get the job done right, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites while actively performing electrical work alongside the team
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to ensure accurate installations
  • Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks to journeymen and apprentices, and ensure project timelines are met
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards
  • Communicate with project managers and general contractors regarding job progress and material needs
  • Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise
Requirements
  • Valid NJ/NY Electrician License (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred)
  • Bilingual preferred. Must be fluent in EnglishMinimum 5+ years of hands‑on electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings
  • Proven experience in a foreman or crew leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation
