Contract Specialist

Addison Group is looking for a strong, people focused Contract Specialist to join our Legal Contracts Team. We are an energetic, results-focused sales and recruiting organization looking for an individual with solid attention to detail, expert understanding of legal terminology, and ability to negotiate contract terms with our clients and sales team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be critical to be successful in the role, including being confident in going through contract agreements with legal counsel for client firms, and being able to understand and articulate what is needed to gain agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating various client agreements including but not limited to Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Statements of Work.
  • Assisting with the contracts management lifecycle process from inception through execution.
  • Working with clients in a professional manner, including taking calls with the client’s legal team.
  • Effectively managing a heavy case load and meeting set deadlines.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal Finance, H.R. and Operations teams to ensure contractual compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
  • Establishing rapport and working relationship with internal sales teams.
  • Performing special assignments or projects, as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with contract reviews; including the interpretation and analyzation of concepts to align with our corporate risk profile.
  • Solid understanding of standard contract terms.
  • Detail orientated, schedule driven and well-organized with strong ability to manage numerous projects and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve problems and take initiatives necessary to perform job functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently, and professionally within all levels of the company regarding complex issues.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contractual matters.
  • Team player and self-starter with ability to complete projects on schedule.
