Job Title: Sourcing Specialist / Sourcing AnalystJob Description

This role supports a strategic sourcing and procurement team during a period of departmental transition. The Sourcing Specialist will manage contracts through their full lifecycle, maintain accurate vendor and procurement data, and ensure that approvals, documentation, and workflows are processed accurately and on time. This position is ideal for someone early in their career in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, risk, or compliance who enjoys detailed administrative work, process improvement, and data analysis, and who wants to make an immediate impact in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts through their full lifecycle, ensuring all required actions are completed on time.
  • Review contract timelines, renewal dates, and key milestones to ensure they are met.
  • Verify that contracts contain appropriate approvals, signatures, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within contract management systems and procurement databases.
  • Monitor contract status and follow up with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed.
  • Support vendor management and sourcing processes across the procurement function.
  • Assist with gathering, updating, and maintaining vendor information and documentation.
  • Review procurement and vendor data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Help identify process gaps, business risks, and compliance concerns within sourcing and procurement activities.
  • Support procurement initiatives, testing activities, and system or process improvement efforts.
  • Assist with vendor risk reviews and compliance-related activities, including documentation and reporting.
  • Promote consistency across sourcing and procurement processes by following and reinforcing standard procedures.
  • Support standardization efforts related to contract and vendor documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Assist the team with reporting, data analysis, and operational projects to support business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and leverage technology solutions where appropriate.
  • Ensure contracts are managed through completion, including confirming that all required signatures and approvals are obtained.
  • Review contract terms and timelines to identify potential gaps, risks, or issues that may impact business operations.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to support procurement, vendor management, and risk and compliance activities.
  • Follow established processes and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and vendors regarding contract status, documentation needs, and process changes.

Work Environment

The role operates in a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of working onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining days. The standard schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work pattern. You will work closely with a collaborative sourcing and procurement team and interact with stakeholders across multiple departments. The position offers exposure to procurement systems, contract management platforms, and data tools such as Microsoft Excel. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential, hands-on experience in sourcing and procurement, and meaningful involvement in vendor management, risk assessment, and compliance processes during an important organizational transition.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
