Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Golang development, developer tooling, automation, and cloud-native engineering. This role will focus on building and enhancing command-line tools, developer productivity utilities, testing infrastructure, and CI/CD automation pipelines that improve the overall developer experience.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production applications and infrastructure. You will work across the software development lifecycle, helping to establish engineering best practices while enabling development teams to move faster through automation, observability, and modern DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based command-line tools and developer productivity applications.
  • Build automation solutions that streamline development, testing, deployment, and hardware validation processes.
  • Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle with a focus on clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Create technical designs, specifications, and implementation plans for new tools and platform enhancements.
  • Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that improve delivery speed, reliability, and quality.
  • Build and optimize Docker container solutions utilizing multi-stage builds and security best practices.
  • Implement observability solutions including logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, SLIs, and SLOs.
  • Support production environments, perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
  • Integrate SonarQube and related code quality tools into the software delivery process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, developer experience, reliability, and engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Golang development experience in production environments.
  • Extensive experience developing CLI tools, automation frameworks, developer platforms, or DevOps tooling.
  • Strong experience designing and building APIs and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Docker, containerization, and container security best practices.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including:
