Job description

Vacatia is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Field Operations to lead and optimize field-based sales and administrative operations in Williamsburg, Virginia. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, supporting sales productivity, and delivering a seamless guest and owner experience.

The Director of Field Operations will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Resort Leadership, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to oversee daily operations, manage teams, maintain facilities, and drive efficiency across multiple departments. This position requires strong leadership, operational judgment, and the ability to manage complex, fast-paced environments.


What Youll Do

  • Lead and oversee daily operations for sales offices, administrative teams, contracts, welcome center, and VLO departments
  • Ensure sales offices, models, and reception areas are maintained to cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards
  • Support sales productivity through effective coordination between administrative teams and sales leadership
  • Manage staffing oversight, including attendance, scheduling, overtime, and performance support
  • Oversee product inventory, marketing deposits, gifting inventory, and system setup for pricing, codes, and tour slots
  • Approve invoices, manage budgets, and partner with vendors to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Handle escalated customer, owner, and employee concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Partner with Resort General Managers to align operational priorities and resolve guest issues
  • Develop and implement business continuity and storm preparedness plans
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to managers and staff across field operations

What Were Looking For

  • High School diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in timeshare sales operations or related industries
  • 5 years' experience in timeshare operations, contracts, escrow, title, legal, accounting, or financial services, or related fields
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 10+ employees in a high-volume environment
  • Strong operational, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with sales and escrow systems
  • Intermediate accounting and general ledger knowledge
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Notary designation
