Assignment Information
  • Full-time opportunities available
    • Initial 16-week contract with potential 13-week extensions
    • 8-hour or 12-hour shifts based on facility requirements

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within inpatient behavioral health and detoxification settings
    • Complete thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychiatric, and withdrawal-related conditions
    • Administer medications safely and monitor patient response, including detox treatment protocols
    • Track vital signs, physical health status, and behavioral or emotional changes
    • Perform nursing triage evaluations and respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations
    • Assist patients in building coping skills and supporting stabilization goals
    • Observe, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
    • Maintain accurate clinical records and medication documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
    • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
    • Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program
    • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
    • Minimum of one year of recent inpatient nursing experience
    • Ability to successfully complete all required screenings, including background checks, drug testing, and competency evaluations
