Job description


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administers moderately complex contracts. Reviews performance in contracts to assure compliance with terms of contracts. Negotiates with customer to resolve problems of contractual obligations and what actions should be taken to assure compliance. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions.
  • Negotiates contracts and amendments with customer or bidder and interfaces with Company management to develop or review contracts for furnishing services, supplies, equipment or other material to the customer.
  • Prepares and analyzes moderately complex price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices, solicitations, terms and conditions. Prepares cost proposals for changes, extensions, renewed options and similar features on existing contracts. Signs offer as person authorized to bind the offeror.
  • Performs subcontract agreement coordination function to ensure the back-up data for compliance with government or customer regulations is obtained for files.
  • Monitors program deliverables. Prepares and maintains cost projections and schedules of deliverables.
  • Prepares general correspondence such as letters of request for no-cost extensions, rent free use of government property, submission of revised proposals, and the like.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse work teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office software with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property law and policies
  • FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience
