Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Ontic's Chatsworth, CA site. The role reports to the Head of Sales and is based onsite.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will:

  • Maximize the value of all product lines by engaging with customers to capture orders, improve profitability, reduce inventory, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and lead sales campaigns, expanding customer knowledge, and effectively extending the usable lifetime of the product lines.
  • Increase organic sales.
  • Educate customers, DOD, and government agencies regarding the product portfolio.
  • Negotiate proposals.
  • Collate Inโ€‘Service Fleet Intelligence.
  • Prepare and manage daily customer quotations and orders.
  • Ensure onโ€‘time order deliveries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace Industry.
  • U.S. DoD Service background is preferred.
  • Experience negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Experience with government FAR/DFARS.
  • Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations related to the Aerospace Industry.
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM Dynamics, MS Teams, etc.
  • Must be able to work independently and travel within a region or internationally.
  • Broad commercial and business awareness, including ability to understand costโ€‘benefit analysis and longโ€‘term reduced total cost.

Compensation

Pay Range: $140,000 โ€“ $150,000.
