Sr Software Engineer

Placement type (FTE/C/CTH): CTH Duration: 6 months Contract to Direct Hire Location: Hybrid 2-3 days a week at SF HQ or Seattle office. Start Date: 4/21/2025 Resume review schedule for Tuesday 4/1 @ 2:30pm. Interview Process 1. First round: 1-hour video call with Bala. 2. Two technical rounds: 45 minutes each. 3. TBD on next steps after that Team Overview: Team of 40 developers reporting into 4 Engineering Managers that report into Director of Engineering. Project Description: Working with Product Led Growth team under the Growth and Marketing vertical. The Sr. Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and growth applications. Focus is on the commerce platform, with most tasks centered around implementing and creating new microservices. Duties/Day to Day Overview: 80% hands on keyboarding/developing with the rest of the time spread across collaboration, architecting, and planning. Working with data modeling, candidate needs to be able to guide team and implement effective data models/ act as data lead on team. Top Requirements: (Must haves) 8+ years of software development experience in user-facing applications Experience working with backend programming language- oC# is preferred but Java also considered Experience running data pipelines into the data warehouse Data modeling/pipelining experience. Requires contributing to data science initiatives, including building, and refining models. Additional Qualifications / (Nice to Haves) / Preferred: React preferred but not must have. Identify and build POCs to solve technical challenges within the organization and recommend a scalable solution Present software architecture to the executives Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products Experience and involvement in the design and operation of large-scale cloud services Experiences with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), build process, testing, and code release Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time Ability and desire to move across technology stacks fluently and easily Additional Notes: This position is hybrid 2-3 days a week on-site in San Francisco or Seattle
