Job Description:

As a Snowflake Developer (1-3 years experience) you will be focused on day to day initiatives that will further assist with a future GCP Data Migration. Day to day will be supporting the current system (Snowflake) and assist with new product development throughout the healthcare aspect of CVS. You will play a vital role in the structure of the current team while some of the current team members will shift over to the focusing on the GCP Migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
  • Write and refine SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing and performance within Snowflake.
  • Assist in data mapping, profiling, and cleansing to maintain data quality.
  • Provide support and training to team members on Snowflake and data management practices.
  • Preform efficient data management by scaling data storage and making computing tasks separate.
  • Stay updated on Snowflake features to leverage the best tools for data management.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement the migration of data to Snowflake on GCP.
  • Document migration workflows, including data flow diagrams, transformation logic, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Snowflake development and data management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific features (e.g., Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage) is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) and cloud migration methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
