Job description

About this position

Sweathouz is a private wellness studio concept built around the power of contrast therapy. Each suite pairs an infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C shower into an immersive 60-minute recovery experience — designed to help people reset, recover, and feel their best. With a growing franchise footprint and a passionate member community, Sweathouz is expanding rapidly and looking for driven people to help bring the brand to new markets.

About the role

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of construction for both new Sweathouz studio openings and remodels of existing locations. This role supports the company's rapid expansion and reinvestment strategy, overseeing project planning, budget management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards. You'll work cross-functionally with design, real estate, operations, and finance teams and serve as the critical link between all internal and external stakeholders. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do
  • Manage end-to-end construction for new studio builds, relocations, and remodel projects, developing and maintaining detailed project plans and timelines
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure adherence to contract scope, brand standards, and local building codes
  • Scope and manage remodels and refreshes of existing studios, minimizing business impact and coordinating work to meet deadlines
  • Track and manage project budgets including bids, purchase orders, change orders, and final invoicing; provide regular updates and forecasting to leadership
  • Serve as liaison between design, real estate, operations, and finance teams, and coordinate with vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout each project
  • Ensure sites are inspection-ready, fully permitted, and turned over to operations in a clean, functioning, and safe condition; manage punch list completion and final walk-throughs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-site construction project management, ideally in retail, fitness, wellness, or franchise settings
  • Demonstrated success managing both new construction and remodel/retrofit projects
  • Deep understanding of construction practices, permitting, and inspection requirements
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction management platforms such as Procore, Smartsheet, or similar tools
  • Financial acumen in construction budgeting, value engineering, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure

The pay range for this role is:
115,000 - 130,000 USD per year(HQ)
