Full-time

1st Shift:

Monday-Friday, 730am-330pm

Objective:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervision of Per Mar Security Officers assigned to University located in downtown Milwaukee. Supervisory duties include ensuring proper employee performance by adhering to company and client policies and procedures, training and scheduling employees to ensure proper security is maintained at the client site according to contract requirements.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Directly supervise Security Officers assigned to your site
  • Assist with the preparation and communication of policies and procedures
  • Act as liaison between assigned client and the branch office
  • Assist with the resolution of employee and client issues and concerns
  • Communicate with General or Operations Manager on regular basis
  • Review and ensure all payroll information is accurate for employees at the assigned account
  • Oversee training of all new Security Officers
  • Maintain, review and distribute required reports and records
  • Enforce and maintain measures to control overtime and training costs.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere
  • As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management
  • Train each new hire and current staff as needed and continually mentor staff in order to assist in the successful performance of your direct report(s).

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Three – five years supervisory and/or security experience and/or training
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.
  • Extensive computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Teams as well as internet skills required.
  • Must have experience in writing and proofreading reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees
  • Must be able to physically perform all Security Officer duties on all shifts and the site(s) supervised.
