Onsite - Irvine, CA
6+ month contract
Hourly Pay Rate: $32-35/hr (individual medical benefits available at a cost)
We are seeking a Scientific Writer (Regulatory Affairs Associate with a focus on scientific writing) to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing, reviewing, and managing regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations. The successful candidate will support clinical research and development activities by translating complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and compliant regulatory submissions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in biotechnology, clinical trials, or medical research to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions within a collaborative environment.
Contributions will include:
  • generate graphs and figures for journal publications and poster presentations;
  • manage secure documentation systems such as One Vault, SharePoint, and ARCH/COSMOS;
  • successful preparation of high-quality submission and presentation-ready documents;
  • ensure project information in publication records and resourcing tools are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Oversee controlled documents and processes: internal study reports and nonclinical modules of regulatory submissions.
โ€ข Oversee non-controlled documents: preparation of publication projects, journal manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
โ€ข Manage documentation systems
โ€ข Complete miscellaneous scientific writing projects as needed.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical lab science or equivalent. Masters preferred.
โ€ข 3+ years of scientific or regulatory writing experience.
โ€ข Exhibits flexibility and a commitment to scientific excellence.
โ€ข Posses strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to productively communicate with disparate personnel and departments.
