Job description

Our client in the Spokane, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of commercial construction projects. This position will be primarily based in the office with regular visits to active project sites. The ideal candidate will have experience leading commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout and possess strong financial, operational, and client-facing skills.

Pay: $43.30 - $53.00/hour (Depending on years of experience, project experience, software proficiency, and relevant construction management experience)

Location: Spokane, WA (Office and Job Site Based)

Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

• Lead subcontractor buyouts, contract administration, and change order management.

• Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, monthly billings, and contracts.

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project success.

• Monitor project budgets, costs, profitability, and overall financial performance.

• Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.

• Support client relationship development and business growth initiatives.

• Ensure projects are completed safely and in accordance with company standards and contractual requirements.

Qualification Requirements

• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Experience with ground-up and/or tenant improvement construction projects.

• Strong understanding of project budgeting, buyouts, change orders, monthly billing, contracts, RFIs, and submittals.

• Knowledge of construction delivery methods including Lump Sum, GMP, Design-Build, and Cost Plus.

• Experience coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience working on commercial projects within healthcare, retail, financial, dental, hospitality, industrial, aerospace, government, or multi-family sectors.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

• Experience with Sage 300 and TimberScan preferred.

• LEED or sustainable construction experience preferred.

Disqualifiers

• No commercial construction project management experience.

• No experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• No experience with project financial management, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

• Limited exposure to commercial ground-up or tenant improvement projects.

• No experience using Procore or Bluebeam.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.30 - $53.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
