Job Title - Salesforce Functional Lead / SME Marketing, Sales & P&C Insurance
Location - New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration - 12+ Months

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, lead requirements gathering, drive solution design, and ensure successful implementation of Salesforce-based sales, marketing, and customer engagement solutions aligned with P&C insurance business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business workshops and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Underwriting and Customer Service teams.
  • Act as the primary Functional SME for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related CRM capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and user stories.
  • Drive end-to-end solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
  • Collaborate with technical architects, developers, integration teams, and business users to deliver Salesforce solutions.
  • Define and optimize lead management, opportunity management, campaign management, customer journey, and agent/broker engagement processes.
  • Support integration of Salesforce with policy administration systems, claims platforms, customer portals, and third-party applications.
  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, impact assessments, and business process re-engineering.
  • Facilitate UAT, training, change management, and production support activities.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, governance standards, and Salesforce best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Insurance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Functional Lead, or Salesforce Consultant.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud implementations.
  • Strong understanding of CRM strategy, customer lifecycle management, campaign management, and sales operations.
  • Extensive experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including policy lifecycle, underwriting, claims, brokers, agents, and customer servicing.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification.
