As Regional Safety Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and secure working environment across all projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. The Regional Safety Manager will be a key contributor to the success of our projects by effectively managing safety risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a proactive safety management system to identify, assess, and control hazards on construction sites.
Create and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and employees on safety-related matters.
Organize and perform safety orientations for all direct-hire and subcontractor employees working under contract with company.
Develop the pre-task plans with the help of onsite supervision.
Establish and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and subcontractors to increase awareness and promote safe work practices.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Collaborate with project managers to develop project-specific safety plans and ensure their effective implementation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, OR related field experience. Relevant certifications or professional designations (e.g., CSP, CHST) are highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes, hazards, and safety regulations.
Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and other relevant standards.
Minimum OSHA 30 certification
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence employees at all levels.
Experience in developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Ability to conduct effective safety training sessions and deliver engaging presentations.
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and develop actionable recommendations.
Proficient in using safety management software, incident reporting systems, and other relevant tools.
High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
