A Contract RV Transport Driver is an independent contractor responsible for delivering recreational vehicles (RVs) from manufacturers or dealerships to customers or other locations. These drivers use their own trucks to tow RVs, typically under a non-employee agreement. They handle trip planning, fuel costs, and any necessary expenses while ensuring safe and timely deliveries. This role offers flexibility but requires meeting company requirements, maintaining a reliable vehicle, and adhering to transport regulations.
A typical workweek for a Contract RV Transport Driver often involves planning routes, inspecting assigned RV units for damage, securing loads, and delivering vehicles to designated locations across long distances.
