Job description

Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a casual, as needed Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Therapist shall deliver respiratory CARE services, under medical supervision, throughout the hospital including critical care units (NICU, PICU, BICU, ICU, SICU, CCU) medical and surgical floors, emergency and recovery rooms. The Registered Respiratory Therapist must be able to adapt to the particular areas of duty assignment and must be able to perform special duties required by the assignment.

Applicant must be recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.). Current WV Respiratory Care license is required a Licensed Respiratory Therapist. Graduation from an AMA accredited respiratory care education program for Respiratory Therapist

Candidates interviewed for this role will be asked to present proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of the interview. Candidates unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered.Two-years experience in the critical care area, NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU is preferred. RRT by National Board for Respiratory Care required WV State Licensure for Respiratory Care required ACLS and PALS preferred Minimum of up to 1 year required

1-2 years preferred The individual must posses the skills and competencies necessary for providing respiratory care services to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric.Two-years experience in the critical care area, NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU is preferred. RRT by National Board for Respiratory Care required WV State Licensure for Respiratory Care required ACLS and PALS preferred Minimum of up to 1 year required. 1-2 years preferred The individual must posses the skills and competencies necessary for providing respiratory care services to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric.
