MLR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's highly skilled healthcare team. This critical role involves delivering specialized care to patients with severe, life-threatening conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of an ICU RN:
  • Provide comprehensive, expert care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and adaptive care planning.
  • Accurately administer medications, treatments, and advanced life-support measures as needed.
  • Work closely with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care strategies.
  • Operate and manage complex medical equipment, such as ventilators, monitoring systems, and life-support technology.
  • Offer support and clear communication to patients' families, including education on the patient's condition and recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation of patient care in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse (ICU):
  • Active RN license in New Mexico.
  • Completion of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS within the first two weeks of employment.
  • Prior experience in ICU or critical care settings is highly preferred.
