Job Title : Benefits Analyst (Empyrean or Benefitfocus) (Remote)

Job Description:

  • The client is looking for an experienced Benefits Analyst with strong expertise in Plan Configuration and Feed Management to support benefits administration solutions.

  • The role involves configuring benefit plans, managing data integrations, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure successful client implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, rates, coverage levels, and enrollment settings within the Empyrean platform or Benefitfocus.
  • Manage inbound and outbound data feeds, including file validation, data mapping, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Support client implementations, system enhancements, testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective platform configurations.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshoot configuration and file feed issues, and coordinate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Create and maintain configuration documentation, process flows, implementation guides, and support documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity through validation, reconciliation, and ongoing monitoring of integrations.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with the Empyrean benefits administration platform or Benefitfocus.
  • Strong expertise in Plan Configuration, including benefit plans, enrollment processes, eligibility rules, and coverage setup.
  • Experience configuring and managing inbound and outbound file feeds, integrations, data mapping, file layouts, and data validation.
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting benefits administration implementations, enhancements, and production support.
