Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location-Type: Onsite (5 days/week) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 12 Month Contract Compensation Range: $75-$85/hour W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support new product development efforts for complex electronic hardware systems. This hands-on engineering role will own board-level development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Own and support PCB assemblies through development and testing phases
  • Troubleshoot board-level electrical issues including signal integrity and power-related problems
  • Perform circuit and system-level diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other test equipment
  • Analyze test results and recommend design modifications or corrective actions
  • Support root cause investigations and reliability assessments
  • Review and modify schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive product improvements
  • Document findings and provide technical reports on test results and recommendations

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in new product development, field support, reliability engineering, or related hardware engineering environments
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience at the circuit and system level
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and precision measurement equipment
  • Ability to read and modify schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Experience with board-level diagnostics, component-level troubleshooting, and PCB rework
  • Proven experience conducting structured root cause investigations using methodologies such as 5 Whys or Fishbone Analysis
  • Familiarity with Altium or similar electrical design tools
  • Experience supporting test development and validation activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience supporting complex embedded electronic products
  • Reliability engineering experience
  • Experience in high-volume product development environments
  • Exposure to manufacturing test and validation processes
