Job description

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is urgently seeking a contract Receptionist to support one of our law firm clients in New York City.



Start: ASAP once interviewed and selected by the client

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Duration: 3-6 months, potential to extend

On site 5 days per week, 10AM - 6PM PT, 35-hour work week

Candidates must be able to start immediately once an offer is accepted.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors warmly, directing them to the appropriate person, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Scheduling appointments, filing documents, and updating records.
  • Monitoring visitor logs, issuing badges, managing mail/deliveries, and ordering office supplies.
  • Photocopying, faxing, and supporting staff with various administrative projects.
  • Attend to Receptionist needs of clients/guests to include car service reservations, parking garage assistance, restaurant reservations, check airlines and print boarding passes, theater tickets, or other hospitality-driven services that clients or visiting attorneys might request.


Qualifications:

  • Prior reception experience, ideally in a law office or professional services environment
  • Ability to be on site 5 days per week
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Technology / MS Office basic proficiency
